American Legion Baseball World Series

"American Legion Baseball World Series" is a league comprised of 2 separate divisions. The Junior American Legion Baseball league is for teenagers ages 13 through 17. The Senior American Legion Baseball league is for teenagers age 19 and under. American Legion Baseball was established in 1925 in Milbank, South Dakota and is comprised of teams in all 50 states with currently more than 5,000 participating teams involved. The very first World Series tournament was held in 1926 and won by a team from Yonkers, New York. The tournament has been held every year since with the exception of in 1927.
