Bingo America

The Game Show Network also known as GSN has a brand new game show and its’ called “BINGO America”. Beginning on Monday, 31 March 2008 at 7PM the GSN brings a new version of one of the most popular games in America to the small screen. The series will run weeknights at 7PM and is hosted by “Patrick Duffy”. Patrick has previously been seen in “Dallas” as Bobby Ewing, “Step by Step” as Frank Lambert and most recently as Stephen Logan Sr. in the daily soap opera “The Bold and The Beautiful”.

This series is a take-off so to speak of the ABC TV weekly series seen in 2007 titled “National Bingo Night” with the huge Bingo container and the very large Bingo balls. The big difference in the 2 shows however is that this version is based on Trivia questions and airs 5 times a week. Another aspect of the series is also the same as used on the ABS series in that “Bingo America” will also feature an interactive game-within-the-game in which viewers can download free bingo cards from GSN.com and play along at home. Free game cards became available for download from the GSN.com site on 28 March, 2008.
