When Teppei arrives to a scientific conference where he was going to meet his brother he is shocked to see that everyone there has been killed, all to kidnap his own brother. Teppei decides to try and save his brother himself and on his quest to save him he meets a broken mechanical horse by the name of B't X who is revived thanks to Teppei's blood, and as a result of that he becomes Teppei's companion.
