S2022E1 - Christmas Morning Service from Blackburn Cathedral
A lively Christmas morning family Eucharist from Blackburn Cathedral, capturing the wonder of the Nativity journey with a liturgy of music, readings and stories and featuring the uplifting setting of Bob Chilcott's A Little Jazz Mass.
The cathedral choir of girls, boys and adult singers leads the congregation in familiar carols, including O Come All Ye Faithful, See Amid the Winter's Snow, I Saw Three Ships, Ding Dong Merrily on High and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.
Broadcast live, with the congregation taking part in the readings and prayers, the story of Christmas will be explored afresh by the dean of Blackburn, the Most Rev Peter Howell-Jones. The Eucharist will be presided over by the bishop of Burnley, the Rt Rev Philip North, and the music directed by John Robinson, accompanied by the cathedral's organist in residence, John Hoskin.
Set in the heart of Blackburn's town centre, the modern gothic splendour of the Cathedral Church of Saint Mary the Virgin with St Paul stands on a site that has been used for Christian worship for over 1,300 years.

S2023E1 - Christmas Morning Service from Manchester Cathedral
Live service led by the Dean of Manchester Cathedral, capturing the wonder of the Nativity with music and readings. The story of Christmas is explored by the Dean of Manchester, the Very Rev Rogers Govender, and the Bishop of Manchester, the Rt Rev Prof David Walker, will preach. Organist and master of the choristers Christopher Stokes leads the congregation in some of the nation's favourite carols, including O Come All Ye Faithful, Unto Us Is Born a Son and While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks By Night.

S2024E1 - Christmas Morning Service from Halifax Minster
Live broadcast of a traditional Yorkshire Christmas service. The minster choir, accompanied by the Hammonds Brass Band, will lead the congregation in a host of well-loved carols, including a special arrangement of While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks and the Yorkshire folk tune On Ilkley Moor Baht'at. The service will be led by the Vicar of Halifax Minster, the Rev Canon Hilary Barber, while the Bishop of Huddersfield, the Rt Rev Smitha Prasadam, will tell of the hope of the Christmas story in her sermon.
