Williams investigates Thorne's accidental death and finds a link back to Jana. Meanwhile, the clues of the diver helmet lead Williams to Hugo's fishing shack. Lucy has a secret rendezvous with Gus, who eventually unravels at a barbecue and exposes his affection for Lucy. Later, Hugo stakes out the house and ambushes Lucy with a dagger.

When Hugo tries to get away with Lucy, he is thwarted by Piet and Freddy, leading to a violent encounter. Meanwhile, Johnny is determined to get the band back together. Eben succeeds in persuading Ella to return to Desert Rose, but he meets a young man who will end up being the key to his own redemption.
