Epic Win

Could a man identify a product purely by reading its barcode? Could a mobility scooter hit 70mph? Is it possible to kick yourself in the head more than 60 times in a minute? And, most importantly of all, is there someone in this country who can identify any type of fish, simply by being slapped round the face by it?

Epic Win is a brand-new entertainment series which attempts to answer these burning questions, as host Alexander Armstrong welcomes ordinary individuals to put these extraordinary abilities to the test.

As well as taking on their personal challenge, each contestant also faces the Epic panel, headed by comedian Micky Flanagan, with two weekly special guests. If the contestants succeed in their challenge, the panel will put a secret monetary value on their skills of up to £1,000 each, giving a potential grand prize of £3,000 – although this amount is not revealed at this point.

The contender now faces the increasing totaliser machine. They are presented with a succession of increasing random amounts of cash. They choose when to stop the totaliser at the amount which they believe the panellists have valued them at. Will they guess correctly and walk away with an epic cash prize, or will they get greedy and end up with nothing, leaving through the "Epic Fail" door?

Joining Alexander and Micky is comedian Joe Lycett, who lends his totally epic voice as the on-screen announcer.
