Eurovision Dance Contest

The “Eurovision Dance Contest” is a “Dancing with the Stars” with participants from many different countries. The 1st International Dance contest with Celebrities began on 1 September 2007 in London, England. This International event is broadcast on many different TV stations in many different countries throughout Europe. The 1st competition had celebrities compete from 16 different countries with the eventual winners being the dance couple of “Katja Koukkula” & “Jussi Väänänen” who represented their country of Finland. The 2nd competition aired from Glasgow, Scotland and began on 6 September 2008 with the eventual winners being the dance couple of “Edyta Herbuś” & “Marcin Mroczek” who represented their country of Poland. The 3rd competition was to be held in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2009 but was rescheduled for 2010 and then rescheduled again for 2011. The 3rd competition has since been rescheduled a 3rd time for 2012 to be held in the country of Djibouti. They are so positive that it will air this time in 2012 that the country is building the first ever retractable roof, doors & walls Domed Stadium for this special event that will hold up to 10,000 spectators.
