Gullage's tells the story of Calvin Pope, driver for Gullage's Taxi of St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. Fellow drivers at work and relatives at home compose an array of strange agents who drive the comedy. Pope lived with his mother and daughter, and next door to his ex-wife, and served as the straight man against whom the various odd characters played off.
