The “Howard Stern” TV show premiered on 18 June 1994 on the “E! Network” (E! stands for Entertainment). The show aired on weeknights at 11 PM and was 30 minutes in length. The show had a very long run of 12 seasons over 2600 episodes and ended its’ run on 8 July 2005. It has been speculated that the only reason his TV talk show ended was because he got a very huge contract offer for his own talk show on “Sirius Satellite” radio that began airing on 9 January 2006. For those few people who do not have the slightest idea who “Howard Stern” is than you are not missing much? He is a very crude, rude dude that takes things he does or is a part of and sometimes crosses over that invisible line of decency. That is why his show was on so late at night but he still had a very huge following that liked the kind of shows he produced. He has been arrested a few times over the years for stuff done on his shows like live sex, showing too much and just doing or condoning some type of illegal activity. He had a Morning talk radio show and his evening talk TV show was run almost identically the same but with Video. His overly plays the “Freedom of Speech” comment too much so he can say and do whatever he pleased and this sometimes went a little too far over the edge for some people.
“Howard Allan Stern” was born in Roosevelt, Long Island, New York on 12 January 1954. He began his broadcasting career as a volunteer on his College radio station at “Boston University”. The first radio show he produced along with some of his College buddies was called “King Schmaltz Bagel Hour” a take-off of “The King Biscuit Flour Hour” that was a syndicated Classic Rock radio show. It took its’ name from a 1920’s radio show named after its’ Major Advertising sponsor “King Biscuit Flour”. ”The King Biscuit Flour Hour” was the very first live Music Concert radio show and it began on 18 February 1973. The Motto of the show still airing today on over 200 nationwide radio stations is "Nothing says Classic Rock like the King Biscuit Flower Hour!" Howard graduated from “Boston University” in 1976 and began his broadcasting career as a D.J. on a small independent 3,000 watt radio station located in Briarcliff Manor, New York. In an interview he provided to “People” magazine in 1984 he was quoted as saying: "it dawned on me that I would never make it as a straight D.J., so I started to mess around. It was unheard-of to mix talking on the phone with playing music. It was outrageous, It was blasphemy." So Howard became what is now called a “Rock & Shock Jock!”
Howard began his TV broadcasting career on 14 July 1990 with his own local TV talk show and named it “The Howard Stern Show”. It aired on “WWOR TV” channel 9 in New York City and ran for 3 seasons ending its’ run on 8 August 1993. From here he next had his first National TV talk show that he titled “Howard Stern. It premiered on 1 June 1994 on the “E! Network” (E! stands for Entertainment). The show aired on weeknights at 11 PM and was 30 minutes in length. The show had a very long run of 12 seasons over 2600 episodes and ended its’ run on 8 July 2005. Over the years Howard has had many Porn Stars on his radio and TV shows. He sometimes had his guests play stupid games to win, sometimes very nice prizes and sometimes just out-right strange prizes. One of his favorite prizes to give out was “Win a Date with a Porn Star”. He had one game on his show he called “Homeless Jeopardy”. He loved for the women who came on his shows’ to stand or sit around with their tops off as often as he could convince them to do so. He had another game where he would check out women to see if they had any potential to become a “Playboy” centerfold. On his newest talk show on commercial free “Sirius Satellite” radio you can be sure he will push the envelope past the extremes of decency even more than ever before.
