Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson are back at Cannon Hall Farm in South Yorkshire for a new series of the show, capturing the beauty and challenges of farming through the winter months. This year Helen takes centre stage, along with farmers Rob and Dave Nicholson, as she faces a new challenge: showing sheep for the first time at her local show in Cumbria. But can she handle the pressure of the show ring? Plus, JB Gill heads into London to lend a hand at a vineyard, and Jules ventures out to stargaze. Over four nights we showcase the spirit of rural life. In this first edition: JB Gill meets a farmer with an innovative way to milk his cows, and Yorkshire Vet Rohin Aojula takes his dad on a special day out to meet the holiest of cows

Yorkshire chef Tim Bilton goes on a mission to celebrate the unsung food heroes of the high street. And young farmer Lilly from the Orkney Islands heads to the local mart to buy a need ram ahead of tupping season.

Hoof trimmer and internet star Ant Thomas gives a herd of cows their winter pedicure, and Tim Bilton heads to Cheshire, home of the famous crumbly, tangy Cheshire cheese to meet the last remaining traditional maker in the area.
Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson are joined by Yorkshire Vet Peter Wright as he checks in on an expectant donkey. Rob and Dave Nicholson try and make more space in the barns and hold their very own auction. JB Gill spends the day at one of London's most surprising spots, where city life and winemaking meet.
