unknown.
Since Long Lost Family began four years ago, the series has reunited over 100 people with their long lost relatives. But the reunion is just the beginning, and in Long Lost Family: What Happened Next, the programme revisits nine of the most extraordinary searches, to find out what happened after the families were reunited. Presented by Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell, the series will discover how these remarkable reunions have transformed people's lives, and what it's like to build a relationship with a family member after a lifetime apart.
Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell revisit more of the programme's most memorable searches, catching up with two women whose lives have been transformed in ways they never imagined. Those featured are Julie Roberts, who reunited with her birth mother Marion last year - leading to an incredible revelation. The second story follows Christina Barlow as she travels 5,000 miles to Colombia to spend time with the birth parents who gave her up in extreme circumstances, spending time with her full siblings who never knew she existed.
In this episode we follow three stories of siblings brought together after decades apart.
Our first story catches up John Nicklin who spent the first 68 years of his life believing he had no biological family. In our second story we catch up with Tracey Collins and Christian Hilton, a brother and sister who reunited in 2014. Our third story follows 81-year-old Pauline Wood as she prepares for her wedding day.
