Three inept demons steal the power-stick of the Demon King, Enma, and promptly lose it. Ojarumaru is the bored, young son of a nobleman finds the stick and it transports him to modern day Japan. He is befriended by Kazuma, another young boy, and is taken in by Kazuma's family. Ojarumaru enjoys his new life and friends while outwitting the inept demons trying to recover their stolen booty.
