Oobi is a children's series aimed at preschoolers who are just discovering the wonderous, incredible world around them. All the characters are the simplest hand puppets possible - hands with eyes and minor accessories. The show follows the adventures, discoveries and accomplishments of four-year-old Oobi, his three-year-old sister Uma and his best friend Kako. The youngsters are usually accompanied by Oobi and Uma's grandfather, Grampu.
