Operation Grand Canyon with Dan Snow follows Dan and a team of historians and scientists as they take part in what is thought to be the first attempt to recreate a pioneering trip through the Grand Canyon. The 280-mile expedition follows the 1869 passage of John Wesley Powell down the Green and Colorado rivers in the American west. Dougal Jerram, Mike Dilger and Sam Willis are amongst those joining Dan.
