Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition

“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition” began in the Philippines on 5 February 2006 only 1 day after the regular edition of “Pinoy Big Brother” selected its winner. The same house was used for the Celebrities but a few alterations and additions were made as well. The Celebrities in the house were from Radio, TV, Movies, Sports figures, notable personalities, and Professional models. This series was broadcast on the ABS-CBN network as the original series was in the same time slot at 8PM and also 7 nights a week. It ran for a total of 56 days and crowned its’ winner on 1 April 2006. The winner of season 1 of this series was the very beautiful actress “Keanna Reeves” who received 44.2% of the votes out of 4 finalist for a total of 571,607 votes. She won 1 Million Philippine pesos, a Million pesos also went to her favorite charity and a condominium located in Valenzuela City, Philippines. The producers of the series also donated 1 Million pesos to their favorite charity as well. The other 3 finalists split a 2 Million pesos cash prize. Season 2 of this series is scheduled to debut in October 2007.
