'Queen Victoria's Letters: A Monarch Unveiled' explores the real story behind the whole who spent the last half of her life mourning for her beloved Prince Albert. She is known as the weeping widow, a well-known image. The documentary explores the idea that her later years were not taken up by mourning for the Prince but a process of liberation. The series discover the last remaining forty years of her life.
