Channel 4’s very own Hugh is back and ready to get down in the shrubbery with a new series of River Cottage…
Having taken on Tesco in Channel 4’s Great British Food Fight, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall returns to River Cottage HQ for a brand new series that explores and celebrates the very best food that spring and summer have to offer.
As always, Hugh rustles up a range of impressive dishes, using the finest seasonal produce that is available and tasty right now. From peas to strawberries, Hugh’s picking ‘em. But it’s not all work and no play - there’s parties galore with Hugh throwing a sheep shearing party, making a boozy prickly gorse flower brew and hosting an almighty great strawberry festival.
The launch of the land linking website Landshare has been a huge success, and Hugh will also be celebrating this success during the show, with a look into the benefits and brilliance of the scheme to get people ‘growing their own’.
