Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs

Saber Rider and Star Sheriffs was anime series which had motifs of science-fiction ,mecha and western. In the distant future ,where the motif of the Wild West is spread all over the universe ,our dimension is threatened by the mysterious Vapor Beings known as the Outriders who are led by evil Nemesis. The only ones who can stop them are Earth's Cavalry Command and their special unit of four brave fighters known as the Star Sheriffs. The members of this team are: Saber Rider - leader of the group and an excellent swordsman, Fireball - the hot shot of the team, Colt - the bounty hunter and remarkable shooter and April Eagle - the daughter of Commander Eagle, the leader of the Cavalry Command. The special weapon of the Star Sheriffs is the Ramrod Unit - a space ship which can transform into mighty humanoid robot in order to fight the Outrider's giant robotic monsters known as the Renegade Units.
The series is based on Japanese show called Seijushi Bismarck. It was produced by World Event Production ,and written by Marc Handler ,who also worked on shows like Voltron: Defender of the Universe and Denver the Last Dinosaur...
