After Selva earns her psychology degree, Gloria and Ariel organize a party for her in town; a tragic accident results in Gloria's death, bringing a grief-stricken Selva back to the city alone.

Selva learns that she is due to enter her climacteric period during a visit with her gynaecologist; Miguel Ángel returns as Selva's secretary and brings a plant to brighten up the balcony.

Selva's return to Grace's program comes as a total surprise. Selva invites Darío and Serena to go out partying, purposely omitting that the plan is to show up at Amadeo and Marina's wedding.
