The Aspen Institute and public television’s WORLD channel announced that they have collaborated on the production of "The Aspen Institute Presents", a series of 10 discussions selected from the 2012 Aspen Ideas Festival which was presented for the eighth consecutive year by the Aspen Institute and The Atlantic. The series marks the Aspen Institute’s first foray into television show production.
"The Aspen Institute Presents", hosted by PBS NewsHour's Hari Sreenivasan, premieres on the WORLD Channel Tuesday, September 18, at 8 pm ET. The first episode, titled "Parenting in the 21st Century," is led by Katie Couric with featured guest Anne-Marie Slaughter, the 2009-2011 director of policy planning under US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, professor of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University, and author of the much discussed Atlantic article, "Why Women Still Can't Have it All."
