“Howard Allan Stern” was born in Roosevelt, Long Island, New York on 12 January 1954. He began his broadcasting career as a volunteer on his College radio station at “Boston University”. The first radio show he produced along with some of his College buddies was called “King Schmaltz Bagel Hour” a take-off of “The King Biscuit Flour Hour” that was a syndicated Classic Rock radio show. It took its’ name from a 1920’s radio show named after its’ Major Advertising sponsor “King Biscuit Flour”. ”The King Biscuit Flour Hour” was the very first live Music Concert radio show and it began on 18 February 1973. Howard graduated from “Boston University” in 1976 and began his broadcasting career as a D.J. on a small independent 3,000 watt radio station located in Briarcliff Manor, New York. In an interview he provided to “People” magazine in 1984 he was quoted as saying: "it dawned on me that I would never make it as a straight D.J., so I started to mess around. It was unheard-of to mix talking on the phone with playing music. It was outrageous, It was blasphemy." Howard became what is now called a “Rock & Shock Jock!”
Howard married “Alison Berns” of Massachusetts on 4 June 1978. They had 3 children together but eventually divorced in 2001. On 14 July 1990 he began his own local TV talk show and named it “The Howard Stern Show”. It aired on “WWOR TV” channel 9 in New York City. The show was taped for release to syndicated stations throughout North America with the next biggest market that aired his series in Los Angeles. The show also aired in Boston, Chicago, Miami, Minneapolis, Philadelphia and San Francisco. The show ran for 3 seasons and the last episode aired on 8 August 1993. From here he next had his first National TV talk show that he titled “Howard Stern”. It premiered on 1 June 1994 as a 60-minute series on the “E! Network” (E! stands for Entertainment). The show aired on weeknights at 11 PM and was 30 minutes in length. The show had a very long run of 12 seasons over 2600 episodes and ended its’ run on 8 July 2005. In October of 1999 he announced to the world that his Beautiful wife Alison was divorcing him because of him being a workaholic. Howard began dating Gorgeous Model “Beth Ostrosky” in 2000 who is 19 years younger than he is.
