'The New Trawlermen' is a new fixed-rig series following some of the biggest trawler operators on the South Coast. The show will follow the operators as they head to one of there most extreme locations yet. The show will also follow how the industry suffers from a shortage of young men wanting to follow in their father's footsteps and pursue a career at sea. As well as following the trainees through training schools and embarking as deckhands.
