The Saboteurs is about how the Norwegians stopped Hitler from building a nuclear weapon by the production of heavy water. They sabotaged the factory that produced something called heavy water that had the potential of creating a German atomic bomb. It should be a very, very well-known story but it’s not.

Aka "The Heavy Water War" (original title: "Kampen om tungtvannet") is a six-episode TV miniseries produced by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. It is a Norwegian-Danish-British co-production. In Denmark, the initial broadcast was on 4 May 2015 on TV 2 titled Kampen om det tunge vand. In the UK, the miniseries is scheduled to be aired by Channel 4 in 2015, retitled The Saboteurs. Viewing rights for the US has been bought by MHz Networks and for France by Entertainment One.
