For many years Britain and America's Cold War submarines took part in a secret war of espionage against the Soviet navy. Crews took part in a game of cat and mouse as battled to gain the tactical and technological advantage. Submariners from both the east and west are now allowed to talk more openly than ever before about how they battled it out to win the war beneath the sea.
There is no Next Episode of The Silent War planned.
