In the fast-paced world of corporate stock trading, expert broker Jack Kenderson is trying his hardest to stay afloat. Jack works alongside Tim Sherman, a naive intern; fellow trader Mark McConnell; Tom Divack, the lead broker; Donna Pasqua, the sexy receptionist; and Catherine Miller, the newest broker at odds with the male employees. Together, they work for a small Wall Street trading company, and The $treet follows the trials and tribulations of their daily lives.
