Charité learns the truth about Hélène. Femke and Peter are married. Simonne and Waldek are a little confused after their kiss. Frank has to deal with the stuff that's going on.
Ann and Mayra's court case is today. Everyone is ready, but Karin hasn't shown up yet. Paulien asks Julia where she has been for the months she was thought to be dead. That period is very hazy to her and she wants to look forward, not back. Lowie has a serious cold. Waldek lost his mobile at Simonne's. Frank found it and he tests Simonne and Waldek with it to see what is going on. Rosa finds a large some of money added on her account with thanks to Marianne. Sam is in search of new clients or the business will go bankrupt.
Karin is just in time for the court case about Sandrine. It is settled that there will be an inquiry about Mayra and Ann's social life first. Ann is quite upset when Ivo and Mayra want Sandrine to be heard also. Ann thinks Sandrine is far too young to be dragged into it. Sam sends Adil home early to cut costs. Kobe asks Karin who his father is. She wants to know him a better first. Rosa tricks Leo and Marianne so they dine together.
Lowie still has a cold and now Adil is also coughing. Sam talks to a new client. It's a big job with big money, but he wants to pay under the counter. Sam hesitates. Ann is very scared Mayra will manipulate Sandrine. Kobe wants to know who his father is, but doesn't know where to start searching. He takes some time off. Dieter feels Eddy already stands between him and Nancy even before he's out.
Julia wants to visit Paulien, but she only finds a sleeping Luc at the house. When Marieke en Lowie turn up, they find Luc with second degree burns on his legs. He doesn't feel it, because his legs are paralyzed and has no idea how it happened. Adil is sick and has to stay home. Femke and Peter notice Nancy is acting very strange and emotional lately. Dieter goes to see Eddy in jail to make things clear. Sam decides to take on the job for the client who wants to pay in black. Waldek and Frank argue again at work. Steven asks Karin out, but she wants to separate work and private life.
Luc is in hospital due to his second degree burns. Lowie feels very guilty this happened to him. Julia tells him he just can't always be there for Luc. Waldek tells Sam he doesn't agree with the job in the castle. He also senses Frank knows he went to Simonne. Junes, Adil's brother, applies for a job with Sam. This time she hires him, because Adil is ill. Nancy tells Peter about Eddy. Olivia and Kobe go fishing together.
Bob and Lowie try to cheer up Luc at the hospital, but he only wants Marieke. That is not allowed by the doctors, but Bob has an idea. Junes starts working today. Marianne tells Rosa if Mayra gets Sandrine, she probably won't see her again also. Peter tells Femke about Eddy might be released early. It's a great shock to her.
Julia tells Paulien it might be good for her if she could visit Luc at the hospital. Femke is very angry now she knows Eddy is coming out. She doesn't even want Nancy near Vic. Rosa tells Waldek, Sandrine mustn't become the victim of everything. And with Mayra around, he could better be careful or he'll lose his child also. Frank tells Simonne they're doing the castle job in black with Junes who's not insured. Charité wants to do more than just being a secretary. She misses the contact with people.
Lowie asks Luc if it's alright if Julia comes by. He's very delighted. Julia baked cookies especially for him. Mayra goes to Rosa and tells her she won't lose Sandrine and if she has any questions in the future, she has to ask her, not Waldek. Karin seems to lost her focus at work. Sam feels her life is a mess with the Castle job and does not want Tim to know this.
Sam tells Tim she just doesn't feel well and doesn't go to work. Adil does go to work and finds out Junes isn't insured due to the fact he's moonlighting. Ann collects Sandrine from Mayra's and notices Sandrine is coughing and has a bit of a fever. Ann thinks Mayra isn't taking good care of Sandrine and tells Karin. Rosa tells Marianne Mayra came by and she doesn't want to get involved in the battle between Ann and Mayra. Paulien is happy Julia seems to feel better and it also went well between her and Luc.
Bob and Tamara succeed into sneaking Marieke into Luc's hospital room. Adil doesn't feel at all comfortable when he learns the Castle job is in black. Frank on the other hand is very enthusiastic when they even get to make a big pond for their client. Waldek also doesn't like all this. Karin is very good at the presentation for RDT-Shipping. Even Steven is impressed. Kaat and Kobe find each other after clearing up at the Withoeve.
Luc goes home again. Tim wants Sam to take it easy, because she looks very stressed. Stan tells Emma he's over Renee, but she's not so sure. Kobe and Kaat are in a very good mood and it shows. But she hasn't told him about being a transgender yet. Peter and Femke read a lot of bad reviews about Sam's company. Bob prepares for his doctorate and doesn't want Tamara to distract him.
Waldek tells Paulien how much the costs for the renovation are going to be. She didn't think it would be that much and tells Sam she won't do the renovation. Sam had hoped it was going to be the rescue of her company and gets very angry with Paulien. Tim tries to calm her down. When school goes out, Stan sees Renee step in Seppe's flashy car. Steven asks Karin for a working lunch date. This time she says yes.
Paulien asks Julia if it's alright for Waldek to visit. It went well with Luc, so Julia sees no problem. But she's shocked when she learns Waldek lives with Mayra who is pregnant from him. Frank doesn't get the money from the owner of the castle and since there is nothing on paper, they can't do anything about it. Steven and Karin have their business lunch and surprisingly get on fine. Veerle talks to Sandrine in connection with the social investigation. Stan sees Seppe with Renee and gets angry, but looses to Seppe. Judith sees it and is worried about Stan.
Kaat tells Kobe she's a transgender. Before he can react to anything, they get interrupted. Adil tells Sam they didn't get the money from the owner of the castle. There is a games-evening at the Frens. Julia goes to Waldek. They talk shortly and she gives him home-made cookies as she did to Luc. Charité thinks it might be difficult to combine her study with work and the family, but Renzo promises to help her. Ann is afraid she blew it with Veerle.
Kobe tells Kaat he's not bothered with her being a transgender. He loves her anyway. Bob gets a job offer to develop new types of wheelchairs. When he made the first one for Luc, it was exciting, but to develop them for the rest of his life is not what he wants in life. Tamara on the other hand thinks it's the chance of a lifetime. Sam is stressed out now her company is on the brink of bankruptcy and confides in Simonne they didn't get payed at their last job. Frank and Junes try to get material back from the castle in the middle of the night. They hear the police and run. Tim and Dieter only see Frank. Leo and Marianne dine together. To her it's not really the standard she's used to.
Frank tells Dieter and Tim he was there alone although the castle owner said he saw two persons. Junes tells Adil everything and stays there the night. When Tim sees Junes in the morning, he notices his dirty and torn trousers. Ann tells Judith she was very nervous when Veerle asked her all those questions. Adil asks Paulien if they can do the paint job at the Frens. Just to have a little work to tie things over.
It's Lowie's birthday today where Julia learns Luc has a sex-friend called Marieke. Tim starts to suspects things after he caught Frank at the castle and now he sees Junes dirty with torn trousers. Sam decides to tell him, because she finds it very difficult to lie to him. Frank tells Adil and Waldek they will burn all papers linked to the castle. Renee tells Stan he should forget about her, because she loves Seppe now, but Stan still loves her.
Frank invites Luc and directs the conversation to money. How they need it for the firm or it will go under and everyone will be out of work. Luc tells him he will give him money. Lowie is furious with Frank when he learns about it. You just don't beg a mentally handicapped person for money. Especially not your brother. Mayra thinks Julia acts strange when she talks about her baby and Waldek. Britney visits Eddy. Femke is scared for when Eddy will be out. Peter promises her he will make sure Eddy won't come near them.
Frank has to pay 3700 Euro for the damages he has done at the castle. He doesn't agree with it, but tries to find work anyway. Dieter thinks Tim closed the file on the vandalism at the castle too quickly, but Tim won't hear of it. Bob has to defend his paper and Tamara wants to help him relax by giving him a face mask. At first Bob thinks it's a good idea, until the mask comes off. Waldek has a plan to help the firm and needs to talk to Sam. She's afraid of making any decision and relies on him to do the right thing. It's Britney's eleventh's birthday.
Lowie has difficulties studying. The only reason he still does it, it's because he doesn't want to disappoint Luc again. Steven asks Karin forgiveness for the mistakes he made in the past. She doesn't answer him. Tamara helps Bob and he gets through. He's a doctor now. The judge decides Ann and Mayra will get Sandrine a week each. Mayra is glad. Ann is furious. She's absolutely convinced Mayra and Waldek are the wrong parents for Sandrine. Sam doesn't want to be boss anymore. Waldek en Adil have an announcement for Frank. With Sam's approval they're breaking up the partnership with him.
Waldek feels bad since he and Adil had to fire Frank. Frank blames everyone but himself for the situation he's in. It's Mayra's week for Sandrine and Ann is not herself. Bob has a bad hangover after he celebrated his doctorate. Rosa and Leo have a laugh at the Frens about what happened last Friday between him and Marianne. Marianne walks in and hears it.
Ann feels no-one can help her. Lowie has a lot of problems studying lately. Sam comes to a decision. She started the job at the castle, so she should take responsibility. She wants to reinstate Frank and tells Adil and Waldek she stops working. Eddy and Frank find each other when they wallow in their misery. Karin keeps thinking about Steven. Peter wants a restraining order for Eddy. He doesn't want him anywhere near him, Femke or Vic.
Luc is very sorry he can't help Frank with money, because Lowie doesn't allow it. Frank excuses himself, because he should never have asked him in the first place. Lowie is tired of everyone asking him about his study. He loses a bet to Bob and now Bob will make a schedule for him to help him study. Sam tells Frank he's eligible for retirement, but Frank can't see himself sitting at home for the rest of his life. Simonne is angry with Waldek and hits him. He holds her firmly by the wrists and explains the situation with Frank. Marianne goes to Mayra and offers her 25.000 Euro to give up Sandrine, but Mayra is not for sale.
Waldek made flyers and even drops one in Frank's letterbox. Frank sees Simonne's blue wrists. She tells him she went to Waldek to talk. The second Frank hears the name Waldek, he's off. Sam finally slept easy again now she made the right decision to stop with the firm. Bob gets Lowie studying again. Ann hardly slept all week and she doesn't want any help from Marianne. Karin tells Steven she was extremely hurt when they broke up years ago. He was the only one she ever loved.
Frank hits Waldek because of Simonne's blue wrists. Julia overhears Adil and Waldek talking about the problems at work. Karin and Steven feel good together. Marianne offers Mayra 50.000 Euro to leave Sandrine solely to Ann. This time Mayra takes the money, but nothing is put to paper. Eddy is out, but has to respect the restraining order which Peter and Femke requested. Lowie has passed his exams today with thanks to Bob.
Julia cooks again at Lowie's house. She asks Lowie after Luc. Simonne is very cold when Mayra asks a morning off to go to the gynecologist. Ann decides she wants to focus on the things she has and not on the things she doesn't have. Mayra asks if she can take Sandrine until next Wednesday. Marianne thinks her plan has worked and is very happy. Leo helps Rosa who has a leaking sink. Karin could have a new big client. Omar Jamal of Gazpro International she met in Dallas. Frank and Eddy decide to snatch jobs from Adil and Waldek.
Simonne wants to help Frank and Eddy when they get a job. Waldek returns Frank's things from his locker to Simonne. They get into a word-fight and Mayra takes him away before it goes too far. Waldek sees Frank trying to do a deal. Julia made extra food so Waldek and Mayra can also have some. Steven shows Karin some buildings for a new office.
Frank looks through the things Waldek brought back from work and misses his photo with Simonne. Simonne is very angry with Mayra although Mayra doesn't do anything against her. To Simonne it's all too much and she fires Mayra. Waldek files a complaint against Frank for hitting him. Karin enjoyed her date with Steven very much. Eddy goes to Nancy, but she doesn't want to know him anymore.
Paulien thinks Julia is ready to live on her own again. Adil still has his doubts. Marieke calls Lowie she can't visit Luc today. With Lowie to his exams and Bob helping Tamara with her exams, Julia stays on her own with Luc. She makes it cozy with him, while boiling some water. Femke tells Simonne it's better she stays home the rest of the week and they will discuss things on Monday. Femke tells Mayra she's not fired. Dieter and Tim ask Frank about his encounter with Waldek. He gets all worked up and Dieter and Tim arrest him. To Sam's surprise, Toon calls her.
Julia pours boiling water over Luc's good hand. He's in terrible pain. Julia threatens him. If he tells anyone about it, she will hurt Lowie also. Adil and Waldek have the job at Judith's house. Waldek also hears about Mayra having a baby girl. He's having a very good day when he gets a phone call and leaves in a hurry. Steven hired the Withoeve for a surprise diner with Karin. He tells Kobe they were together 24 years ago. Kobe does the maths and asks Karin if Steven is his father. Sam and Toon have a final talk, but if she needs him, he will be there for her.
Luc is terrified when Julia visits him. She says she won't hurt him or Lowie and even brought cookies for him. At the center they will keep a sharp eye on Lowie, because Luc came back twice with severe burns. Adil tries to reach Waldek and also Mayra tries to phone him, but neither can get contact with him. Suddenly Simonne remembers the appointment she had with Waldek last Friday.
Lowie notices Julia visited Luc at the center in his room. Luc keeps saying it was his own fault that he got burned. Lowie still believes it's his responsibility and he will try better in the future. Mayra calls the police to report Waldek missing. Simonne confides in Angèle about her last encounter with Waldek. She's scared she might have talked him into suicide. Frank and Eddy go to the canal where they clobbered Waldek. Eddy finds Waldek's phone and throws it away. They also see Waldek's coat in the water. Karin finally shows up at work again and is completely down due to what happened between her, Steven and Kobe.
Lowie is not allowed to take Luc home at the moment. Luc doesn't understand why and is angry. Mayra collects Sandrine from Ann. Marianne learns about this and is baffled. Karin feels better, but doesn't answer Steven's call. Kobe and Steven on the other hand do call each other. The police trace Waldek's phone to the canal. There they find it and his coat in the water.
Olivia visits Luc and meets up with Lowie that way. She tells him nobody believes he would hurt Luc in any way, but he still blames himself. Adil finally reads Toon's letter he got through Sam. Kobe and Steven tell each other about how they lived their life. The police question Frank about Waldek's disappearance. Simonne gives him an alibi for Friday evening. He tells Simonne the truth. He and Eddy saw a drunken Waldek at the canal side. Frank hit him and Eddy pulled him away. When they left, Waldek was still alive.
Julia bakes cookies at Lowie's house while everyone is away. They don't know she puts some drugs in it. She visits Luc and gives him the cookies. When he's asleep, she removes every crumb and leaves an empty pill box on the table. Marianne is bad tempered and calls Mayra. Mayra tells Sandrine she just goes out for an errand. Sandrine gets a visitor and disappears. Eddy is scared. He goes to the police and tells everything. When the police go to Frank, he flees. Waldek wakes up and finds himself bound to a chair in a cellar. Steven wants to know why Karin never told him he had a son. He's very angry and never wants to see her again.
