In a unique experiment, a group of Danish sailors and Viking experts embark on a perilous journey across the North Atlantic to experience the Vikings' exploits for themselves. A journey of over 5000 km, which changed the world map forever. Archaeologist Jeanette Varberg tells the story of raids, conquests and their incredible discoveries of new land, while chef Nikolaj Kirk serves the food the Vikings ate.
