When you think of tailgating in the parking lot, fans sporting their home team colors, and loud cheering, World TeamTennis (WTT) will soon come to mind. WTT is tennis as you have never seen it, and a sporting event not be missed. WTT started in 1974 when Billie Jean King's dream to incorporate a co-ed league and professional tennis came true. For the first time fans were allowed to get involved in the extreme tennis and intense rivalries on the court. Players sported loud colorful uniforms and wore microphones on court. Cheering, yelling, and screaming fans replaced polite and subdued spectator applause. Watch all of these trailblazing traditions continue this season during Tennis Channel's coverage of the Tour.
