Time Warp Trio

Joe, a ten-year old boy, gets a mysterious book from his uncle, who is a magician. When he gets the book, he has no clue about the adventures he'll have with his friends, Fred and Sam. Whenever they make a wish, the book releases a green glowing mist and sends them back in time. Every time they do that, they have an exciting adventure, whether they like it or not, like dueling with gladiators in ancient Rome or meet the pirate called Blackbeard.

That's not all. There's more! When the boys travel to the future by accident, the meet their great granddaughters, Freddi, Samantha, and Jodie. They also use the book and live in the year 2105. Sometimes they'll bump with each other and will help them out sometimes.

This series brings history to life as the boys and girls use their skills to get them out of any unfortunate situation and try to get back home using the book. Each episode has real facts about history. For example, did you know that the word Thursday evolved from a viking named Thor as in Thor's Day or that Mongolian nomads sniffed each other to greet themselves instead of shaking hands?

This animated television series is based on a book written by Jon Scieszka. WGBH , a PBS station in Boston, created this series with cooperation by Soup2Nuts, an animation company. Here is its website.
