In 1993, 18-year old Tricia Pacaccio was stabbed to death. Neighbor Michael Gargiulo was an early suspect, but there wasn't enough evidence to arrest him. Garguilo fled to California where his appetite for murder grew. Maureen Maher has the story.
In 1988, Mel Ignatow sexually tortured and murdered Brenda Schaefer. After a jury acquitted Ignatow, photos of the torture emerged. But the U.S. Constitution states a person can't be tried twice for the same offense. Erin Moriarty has the story.
Three years after April and Justin Barber wed; they were shot while walking on a deserted Florida beach. April was killed and Justin was shot four times, but survived. He said it was a robbery gone wrong, but police disagreed. Harold Dow reports.
