Next Episode of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Lifetime has picked-up the reality series Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, headlined by Dance Moms' Abby Lee Miller, which will feature 12 of the country's most talented girl and boy dancers competing for a $100,000 cash prize and a scholarship to the Young Dancer Program at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. Joining Miller at the judges table will be Robin Antin, founder of the pop group sensation Pussycat Dolls, and dancer and cutting-edge celebrity choreographer Richard Jackson. Kevin Manno will host. Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition will begin by following a dozen aspiring dancers -- ages six through 13 - who will learn new routines and compete in a number of challenges designed to test their skills when they perform before Miller, Antin and Jackson, as well as a live audience, at the historic Los Angeles Theatre.
With this week's theme of "Nightmares," the dancers tackle all kinds of things that go bump in the night... while their moms have trouble keeping their inner monsters in check. The claws come out when one mom tries to sabotage another with dance assignments. And then, the worst nightmare of all, teen angst hits some of the dancers and they turn on their mothers.
It's "Diva" week and our dancers and their moms are happy to oblige. In a fierce dance version of kickball where the kids get to choose their dance styles one-by-one, leaving one unlucky dancer with the style no one else wanted. Some of the dancers choose wisely, but others find themselves on the wrong side of the biggest diva in the house--Abby Lee Miller, of course.
All of the dances this week are inspired by "Alice in Wonderland." With the numbers dwindling, the competition heats up more than ever and when one mom sabotages everyone, her daughter pays the price. Nerves are at an all-time high and nothing is off limits when it comes to making the final three.
It's finally time to choose this year's Ultimate Dancer. The finalists are so close they can taste it and they'll do anything to win the $100,000 and a scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. Everything is on the line and every move they make counts. May the best dancer win!
