"ALIVE AND COOKING" is Australia’s hottest cooking show hosted by UK celebrity chef, James Reeson.

Filmed on location at some of the country’s top food and wine regions as well as in James’ kitchen, James prepares a feast of delicious dishes for the occasional cook and cooking expert. Everything is covered; meaty main courses, vegetarian variations and delectable desserts.

“The show takes you to the heart of cooking, on location across Australia, inland, on the coast and using the best wines, oils, and different foods developed by each region,” James said.

James was last seen on the ABC and BBC Worldwide network in his own series, James Can Cook, prior to that he fronted the very popular series, The Occasional Cook. James started his cooking career in Bristol UK, has worked in the best hotel in Plymouth, followed by Burgh Island and next stop – Paris. James’ most vivid memory is his time on a fifty-metre cruiser cooking for a Saudi Prince on a swivelling stove strapped to his back in a kitchen the size of a cupboard!

From intimate bistros, to head chef in a two-hundred seat restaurant, James has vast experience working in different kitchens, exotic locations, with unruly customers and trying conditions.
