All American: Homecoming follows a young tennis hopeful from Beverly Hills and an elite baseball player from Chicago as they contend with the high stakes of college sports, while also navigating the highs, lows and sexiness of unsupervised early adulthood at a prestigious Historically Black College.
Simone is concerned about changes taking place at Bringston and wants to bring attention to the issues, but things don't go as expected, and it puts Damon in a difficult position. Marcus seeks advice from an unlikely source. JR makes a decision about his future and Keisha tries to advise Simone.
Simone is leading up the PKZ voter registration drive and chooses an unexpected partner. JR is keeping a secret and confides in Keisha. Gabi tells Cam that she is worried about JR.
Simone pushes the tennis team a bit too hard and suffers the consequences. Marcus divulges a new secret to Amara who clashes with Nate about new campus safety measures.
It's Simone's 21st birthday and her friends turn out for her as she struggles to advocate for herself in another part of her life. Keisha is concerned that she hasn't heard back from any graduate programs and Cam's efforts to help only make things worse. Marcus struggles with making an important connection and JR talks to Lando about bringing baseball back to Bringston.
Simone struggles with a crisis as Thea returns to Bringston. Keisha goes to JR for advice and Cam questions why she didn't go to him. Lando learns more about the history of KEK.
Simone has to choose between the most important things in her life. Nate's cousin reaches out, which brings up some very raw emotions resulting in a heart to heart with Lando. Keisha comes up with a plan to help JR and realizes she needs to step it up with Cam.
Nate urges Simone to let Amara know what is going on with her health as Amara surprises everyone and returns to Bringston for Thanksgiving. Marcus tries to bond with Noah. Cam wonders if Keisha and JR are spending too much time together.
When JR is unable to take Simone to her appointment, Lando steps in. As the two spend the day together, Lando and Simone help each other see the best in themselves which leads to Simone making a confession to someone important in her life.
When Simone is forced to fight for her spot on tennis team, she encounters an unlikely adversary on the court. JR and Lando pitch the board to bring baseball back to Bringston. Cam makes a huge gamble resulting in a visit from Big Hank. Meanwhile, Keisha receives some news, from a very unexpected source.
Simone and JR become inspired by the importance of legacy and have new ideas about their futures. When Cam and Keisha hit a crossroad in their relationship, Lando offers some much-needed advice. Nate stumbles upon something she was not meant to find, but all is not as it may seem. Meanwhile, Marcus holds a wellness event for all Bringston.
Simone is determined to return to tennis as a champion, but her heart doesn't seem to be in the game, so Lando offers some assistance. Marcus spends more time with Noah but JR thinks Noah may be hiding something. Gabi joins Cam at the recording studio and makes a discovery.
Simone gets ready to face one of the toughest matches of her career as the team comes up with an idea to get student support for the tennis team. JR finds a sponsor for the club team, but not everyone is on board with the choice. Keisha has a great idea but needs Lando's help.
Simone opens up to Amara when her integrity is questioned. Damon returns and gives some sound advice to JR. Lando is skeptical about his future possibilities. Marcus wants to do everything he can for Noah, but is met with some resistance. Meanwhile, Keisha receives some unexpected help with her dance final. Nate receives some surprising news and gets support from Thea. Cam makes a big gesture, but it comes with complications.
