All-Round Champion features ten of North America's most decorated young athletes who compete in the ultimate competition in sports like wakeboarding, gymnastics and skateboarding. The catch? They won't be competing in their own sports; they'll be competing in each other's. Scored on skill, sportsmanship and improvement at the end of the series, one athlete will be crowned the All-Round Champion.
In the season four premiere, ten elite athletes representing both summer and winter sports have gathered to compete in the ultimate sports competition where one of them will be crowned the All-Round Champion. Excitement mixed with nerves overcome the athletes as they leave behind family and friends for ten weeks and meet each other for the first time. One of the athletes reveals an early surprise while Alpine Skiing is revealed as the first sport and Rebecca must train her fellow athletes for the first competition in only three days.
It's the second week for the elite athletes competing in the ultimate sports competition. Fencing is revealed as the featured sport and Jabreel must train his fellow athletes for the competition in only three days. The Advantage is back and could affect The Competition results. Early on, with Épée in hand, the athletes learn etiquette, safety, grip, footwork and en garde positions. But once the athletes attack, it gets intense and grueling; especially for Chace who walks out mid-training. The Sport Star has fun with Noah. Jabreel disses Perdita. A history making podium.
It's the third week for the elite athletes competing in the ultimate sports competition. Powerlifting is revealed as the featured sport and Damiyah must train her fellow athletes for the competition in only three days. She panics just before showing off her sport. When it comes to training, the athletes are put to various tests that could prove rewarding. The bus breaks down and the athletes are up for a true test of strength. Liesel and Elle are the early favorites going into The Competition. Can Claire three-peat for another medal?
It's the fourth week for the elite athletes competing in the ultimate sports competition. Boardercross is revealed as the featured sport and Noah is deemed the Sport Leader and will have to train his fellow athletes for the extreme competition in only three days. The week starts off with an adrenaline-fueled activity that none of the athletes knew existed. Chace's confidence in winter sports returns while others are just getting use to standing up on the board. Claire has a setback early on. Rebecca has a tough time with her prosthetic and seeks the advice of a Boardercross Paralympian. Damiyah is determined to stay upright. The Competition is wild leading to another historic Podium.
It's the fifth week for the elite athletes competing in the ultimate sports competition. Snowkiting is revealed as the featured sport and Chace is deemed the Sport Leader and will have to train his fellow athletes for the competition in just three days. Claire is on a hot streak with four medals in four weeks. Elle is getting frustrated that she hasn't been able to podium. Rebecca gets the sense that something is wrong and is determined to fix it. Having coached last week, Noah needs points. The Competition proves tough and Nathanaël has an epic meltdown. Perdita puts it all into perspective at the Podium Ceremony.
It's the sixth week for the elite athletes competing in the ultimate sports competition. Karate is revealed as the featured sport and Liesel is deemed the Sport Leader and will have to train her fellow athletes for the competition in just three days. The Advantage causes some tension amongst the athletes following a fierce inflatable wrestling tournament. The friction dissipates in the Dojo as the athletes learn kicks, punches and defensive moves. While Noah has fun remembering the names of the moves, Claire bleeds and Nathanaël goes down hard after receiving a kick from Elle. The athletes are in for a few surprises before the Competition. The Advantage proves to be very valuable. The gold medal is decided with one second remaining in the match.
It's the seventh week for the elite athletes competing in the ultimate sports competition. Artistic Swimming is revealed as the featured sport and Sabrina is deemed the Sport Leader and will have to train her fellow athletes for the competition in just three days. Damiyah reveals she broke her toe while earning her silver medal last week; while a bit of bitterness still lingers amongst the athletes who weren't able to compete in the previous competition. Perdita suggests a Polar Plunge to help re-focus the athletes on the ultimate goal. In the pool, Jabreel struggles, Rebecca faces another decision with regards to her prosthetic and Sabrina excels as coach. A shocking announcement is made just before Competition. Another, even bigger shocker comes at Podium.
It's the eighth week for the elite athletes competing in the ultimate sports competition. Hockey is revealed as the featured sport and Claire is deemed the Sport Leader and will have to train her fellow athletes for the competition in just three days. Chace enters the week with swagger. A lack of confidence in skating is swirling among the other athletes but a sense of enjoyment is apparent. Elle receives stunning news and an early injury while Nathanaël seems to finally be making progress in a winter sport. Claire shares a cause close to her heart. A close competition leads to heartbreak at the Podium.
It's the penultimate week for the elite athletes competing in the ultimate sports competition. Ninja is revealed as the featured sport and Nathanaël is deemed the Sport Leader and will have to train his fellow athletes for the competition in just three days. The Basics activity does not go as planned for Nathanaël, Liesel suffers an injury that may affect her training and Jabreel is forced to make a tough decision. The athletes quickly realize that Ninja looks easy but is physically and emotionally draining. Chace struggles, Claire is desperate for the podium and Damiyah makes a phone call that could affect the competition, which takes place in the dark.
It's the last week for the elite athletes competing in the ultimate sports competition. And before the All-Round Championship Belt is awarded, Hurdles is the featured sport and Elle is the last Sport Leader and will have to train her fellow athletes for the competition in just three days. Speculation looms about the Sport Star but is quickly dismissed as they put the athletes through a rigorous training regime. Liesel has yet to podium and knows its now or never for a medal. Rebecca debates which prosthetic to use during the final week. Chace's diminutive statue affects his performance and confidence. Surprises abound at the podium.
The Arcathlon is back, this time – Highland Games style! The contest continues with the most physically and mentally demanding events ever in the history of ARC with significant points up for grabs. Caber Toss, Hurling Accuracy, Hammer Throw, Tug-O-War and Log Balance. Jabreel is still reeling from almost being deemed the overall winner last week while Damiyah, Claire, Elle and Rebecca are invigorated. Noah and Chace have hope. The weather turns which makes the battle for the Championship Belt that much tougher. The Greatest All-Round Champion ever is crowned.
