It is clear he has been drinking, meaning once they have assessed him, he will be answering questions from the police. Eric and Emily are dispatched to an 83-year-old who is in a lot of pain from her back, after which they answer a call from the police to a suspected assault on a 12-year-old, while senor paramedic Tony is called out to a man found slumped in his car in the city centre.
