ABC's longest-running primetime entertainment show, America's Funniest Home Videos, returns for season 33 this fall with the same mission -- giving families something genuinely funny to enjoy together on Sunday nights."AFV," the longest-running primetime entertainment show in ABC history, returns for season 33 with the same mission - to provide viewers with hysterical moments that fly by at a dizzying pace.
"America's Funniest Home Videos" begins its 21th season with all-new footage of what happens when adults, children and animals are at their spontaneous best. Video highlights of this season's opener include a bulldog drooling excessively in the car over a man's sandwich, getting slobber everywhere; a music montage featuring men getting waxed; a man showing off his new motorcycle and immediately crashing into a curb; and siblings arguing over the merits of "AFHV" host Tom Bergeron vs. former host Bob Saget.
Clips include a dog confused by a fart machine, kids who unknowingly eat caramel "onions" instead of apples, funny things kids say and a musical montage of cats. This week's state spotlight shines on Iowa, with clips submitted from the Hawkeye State.
Highlights include a man who has a run-in with a squirrel that's hiding in his chimney, a woman so overwhelmed when she realizes a surprise party is for her that she faints, a bride's veil catching fire and a tot who almost eats a ladybug. This week's state spotlight shines on Oklahoma, with clips submitted from the Sooner State.
Highlights include clips of dogs who can talk, a man who scares his neighbors with a rubber snake in his yard, and friends who rewire a man's brake pedal to his horn so it honks every time he steps on the brakes. This week's state spotlight shines on Mississippi, with clips submitted from the Magnolia State.
Trick or treat mishaps, costumes so terrifying they scare the children and, most frightening of all, pets in costume, are just some of the video clips featured.
Clips include a woman on a rollercoaster, trick or treat mishaps, a little boy who prays that mom makes better meals while saying grace, and a montage of dads changing diapers. This week's state spotlight shines on Kentucky, with clips submitted from the Bluegrass State.
In the first $100,000 award show of the season, clips include: "Passed Out Passenger," a woman who rides a roller coaster and promptly passes out; "The Spice Boys," a game where one must swallow a tablespoon of cinnamon; "Cookieface Race," with family members trying to move a cookie from their foreheads to their mouths using only facial muscles; "Shake It Baby," a toddler with a gyrating bumble ball stuck in between his pants and diaper; "Thumbstucker," a toddler exploring a hotel bathroom; and "Ringleader," a teen squeezing himself into toddler swim rings at a pool party.
Clips include Thanksgiving mishaps, including a turkey catching fire in the oven, golfers chasing a runaway cart all over the course, a bear at an animal park getting too close to a car, and a woman whose car door gets stuck in the snow, then ripped off when she tries to dislodge it. This week's state spotlight shines on New York.
On this Christmas-themed episode, clips include X-mas morning pranks, with a dad who hooks up a car horn to a gift so it honks every time his son opens the lid, and Santa not coming through the chimney but taking a header down the stairs. This week's state spotlight shines on Pennsylvania.
Video highlights include a wedding proposal at the beach gone wrong, a man desperately trying to catch his runaway snowmobile, a bride who pranks her bridesmaids with a trick bouquet and a little girl who gets upset watching her parents' wedding video cake smash.

"AFHV" goes to the dogs (literally) when the canine stars of "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2" stop by for a visit with Tom Bergeron. Video highlights include funny Chihuahuas, including one who shows a German Shepherd who's the boss; cats, including a cat that's pestered by a backyard bird; plus animals that make strange noises. Highlights include videos of boys being naughty, including one kid who dumps cold water over his sunbathing dad; funny things kids say; a football player who recovers a ball, then runs in the wrong direction; and a crocodile that charges at a menacing dog -- and the dog lives to tell the tale. On the second $100,000 episode of the season, contenders for the prize include: "Jersey Shortie," in which a 4-year-old is inconsolable when he finds out he's too young to run for governor; "Car Seat Stink Eye," in which a little boy, annoyed with his crying cousin, decides to do the same; "Towel Terror," when a little girl is frightened by her brother's bunny towel; "Longing for Lipstick," in which a little girl is disappointed with her present of a bike; "Sticker Shock," where a boy plants stickers all over his little sister's face; and "Prosecuting the Poodles," in which, armed with a flip cam, a woman interrogates three poodles about who's pissing around (literally) in her living room.
Highlights include an angry kangaroo going after a woman at an animal park; a music montage featuring mishaps in the workplace and a Christmas video greeting that goes up in smoke due to a wayward candle. This week's state spotlight shines on Minnesota.
Highlights include a music montage of cheerleading gone wrong; a girl who pulls out her sister's loose tooth by tying it to a baseball; and men being tricked into biting into caramel onions rather than apples. This week's state spotlight shines on Washington.
Highlights include snow mishaps, kids saying hilarious things, and a dog that runs out onto a field during a football game and does what comes naturally. This week's state spotlight shines on North Dakota.
Highlights feature Easter mishaps, including a kid who makes a mess dyeing eggs and a music montage with apes, monkeys and chimps. This week's state spotlight shines on Kansas.
Highlights include a marriage proposal gone wrong, as a man sets up his tripod to record the big moment only to have a dog wipe out the camera. Also, a little girl sneaks up on dad with a hose while they wash the car. This week's state spotlight shines on Virginia.
The final $100,000 video winner of the season will be chosen. Video contenders include: "Butt Thermometer Mix-Up" -- a teenager who's disgusted to learn she's just taken her temperature with her dog's rectal thermometer; "Wax On, Wax Ouch!" -- a man who gets his chest and tummy very painfully waxed; "Crying Camera Kid" -- a very funny, dialogue-only video from a kid who lost his camera in the snow; "Uranus or Mine?" -- a little girl who has trouble saying the name of a planet; "Misspelling Safari" -- a little boy's first try at reading; "Rainbow Calling" -- a little girl convinced that a rainbow would end in a golden treasure at grandma's house; "The Battle with the Balloon" -- a kid who just can't get a balloon to pop.
In Part One of the Season Finale, filmed aboard the Disney Dream(TM), the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line(R) fleet, the countdown begins to see which $100,000 winner will take home this year's grand prize, SUNDAY, MAY 15 (7:00-8:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The prize is a once-in-a-lifetime trip, which will include making memories at the Walt Disney World Resort(R) in Florida and the Disneyland(R) Resort in California; traveling to Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii; choosing a guided family group vacation with Adventures by Disney(R); and finally, sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line's(R) newest ship, Disney Dream(TM).
In Part Two of the Season Finale, filmed aboard Disney Dream, the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, and at the Disney California Adventure Park nighttime water spectacular, World of Color, this year's grand prize winner is revealed. The prize is a once-in-a-lifetime trip, which will include making memories at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and the Disneyland Resort in California; traveling to Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii; choosing a guided family group vacation with Adventures by Disney; and finally, sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, Disney Dream.
