Antonio Ballatore, his project manager Grace, and his right hand-dog, Chewie the bulldog, along with a team of Catsperts and Barkitects, transform drab, cramped homes and outside areas into functional, high-style spaces for both pets and the people they love. Antonio's excitement for both design and animals drive him to go the extra mile for his clients and their four-legged, winged, and scaly friends. The newly designed spaces, renovated specifically for the homeowners and their pets, feature design elements that alter homes to become creative and purposeful spaces for all to enjoy. This season, viewers will see a cabin redesign for a family and their blind dog; a complete backyard renovation featuring a pet-safe fire-pit; a man-cave that can accommodate 20 pets; and a room design complete with a soaring sculptural cat climbing wall, among other design transformations.
Antonio helps a family create the ultimate backyard dog park with cool, custom dog houses; a paddling pool for hot summer days; and a slick structure of ramps and tunnels to keep everyone entertained and active.
Antonio and his team design and build an elaborate system of tunnels and towers spanning two rooms for a family and their seven adorable, fluffy chinchillas.
A family has been crowded out by their rescued animals, including two mini horses that insist on sleeping in the master bedroom. Antonio's solution is to build the ultimate horse barn with all the modern comforts and attach it directly to the house.
A couple wants their cat and foster kittens to safely enjoy the outdoors. Antonio's solution is an intricate system of outdoor catwalks and double-decker enclosures with cat-friendly plants, natural climbing surfaces and all the toys a cat needs.
A family has two Nigerian dwarf goats who wreak havoc in their backyard. Enter Antonio, who transforms their space into the ultimate goat playground, complete with a climbing tower, observation deck, and an easy-to-clean three-story goat house.
Firefighter Ricky rescued a 20-foot Burmese python from a burning building, and now he needs Antonio's help. In one if his most ambitious projects, Antonio transforms the basement into an epic habitat with heated rock facades, a waterfall and pond.
Antonio meets a family and their pot-bellied pig who has turned their front yard into a dust bowl. Antonio goes hog wild and designs the ultimate pig paradise with a new pig house, mud pit, space to run and an activity wall to keep Mr. Pickles happy.
Antonio meets a couple whose home has been taken over by their rescued bunnies. He'll transform their overgrown backyard into a beach-themed oasis for humans and bunnies, complete with predator-proof enclosures.
Antonio meets a family with two bearded dragons stuck in a tank in mom's bedroom. Antonio's solution: a backyard, temperature-controlled dragon clubhouse with separate self-sustaining tanks, a climbing area, and a cool hangout spot for the family.
Gentle Barn is more to more than 200 rescued animals, including sheep, cows, pigs, horses, a llama and even an emu. All those animals need enrichment, and Antonio is on the scene to design a stunning build to get all those rescues active and moving.
