From-the-ground-up reboot of the critically acclaimed 1990s series, which revolves around John Sheridan, an Earthforce officer with a mysterious background, who is assigned to Babylon 5, a five-mile-long space station in neutral space, a port of call for travelers, smugglers, corporate explorers and alien diplomats at a time of uneasy peace and the constant threat of war.
John Sheridan arrives on Babylon 5 to replace Jeffrey Sinclair, who has suddenly been recalled to Earth without explanation, and is immediately thrown into a confrontation with a renegade Minbari Cruiser.
Sheridan's sister comes to visit him at his new command, G'Kar returns with grave tidings from the rim of known space, Dr. Franklin attempts to wake Garibaldi from his coma, and something is happening in Delenn's quarters.
A mysterious group known as "techno-mages" take up temporary residence on Babylon 5 and Londo is eager to get an audience with them. Meanwhile, the Drazi cause problems for the newly promoted Ivanova with their rather unusual election process.
An Earth Alliance Explorer class ship, commanded by an old friend to Captain Sheridan, arrives at Babylon 5 for re-supply. Dr. Franklin gets on the command officers nerves when he starts handing out "food plans".
A 100-year-old space exploration ship appears near Babylon 5 carrying only two passengers - a woman in cryogenic sleep, the corpse of her husband... and something sinister that has unfinished business with a half mad lurker.
An old friend of Talia Winters, Taro Isogi, visits Babylon 5 to negotiate a deal to help Mars become more self-sufficient, when he is murdered at the hands of a Free Mars member.

The Emperor of the Centauri Republic comes to Babylon 5, but his failing health results in his peaceful mission being transformed into an opportunity to ignite all out war between the Centauri Republic and the Narn Regime. Meanwhile, Garibaldi confronts a mysterious man who has been following him around the station.
Babylon 5 experiences considerable space problems when General Richard Franklin, father of Stephen Franklin, arrives on the station with an army of 25,000 Earthforce Marines, who are about to be deployed in a war zone.
While leading a Starfury squadron to investigate the disappearance of several ships, Sheridan is captured by an alien vessel. Elsewhere, Delenn is summoned to appear before the Grey Council to discuss her recent transformation.
G'Kar struggles to control the Narns on Babylon 5 as he asks the different ambassadors for help in their war against the Centauri. Ivanova shows a representative from a new species around the station, so he may decide if humans are worthy of their presence.
A fugitive doctor, the personal physician to President Clark, arrives on Babylon 5 on the run from the Earth Alliance, but when Captain Sheridan learns the reasons why, the race is on to find him before Earthforce Special Intelligence can seize him.
Sheridan is forced to kill a Minbari citizen in self-defense; however, when a Minbari who witnessed the incident claims Sheridan murdered the Minbari in cold blood, he must prove his innocence or lose his command. Elsewhere, Ivanova is placed in charge of a gift shop selling Babylon 5 merchandise.
An ISN news crew spends 36 hours on Babylon 5 to film a documentary, capturing a snapshot of life on the station as well as the progress of the Narn-Centauri war.
Sheridan is shocked to learn that one of the crew of the Icarus, the ill-fated science ship that exploded with his wife aboard, is alive - namely Mr. Morden. Meanwhile, a representative from the newly established Ministry of Peace visits the station to recruit personnel to the Nightwatch.
Londo gets a visit from an old friend who seeks his help after being labelled a traitor by the Centarum. Elsewhere, Sheridan begins hallucinating after being attacked by a dead alien.
When a fatal and contagious plague threatens the Markab race with extinction, Dr. Franklin races to find a cure before more of the station's residents are killed. However, his efforts are obstructed by the Markab themselves, who believe the plague only affects the immoral.
Lyta Alexander returns to Babylon 5 with a message from the telepath resistance - one of the command staff is, unknowingly, a sleeper agent for the PSI Corps. Elsewhere, Ivanova makes a startling revelation to Sheridan.
Draal reveals himself to Sheridan, now ready to offer the services of the Great Machine on Epsilon III for the struggles ahead. Meanwhile, Lord Refa and Londo set a plan in motion that will determine the final outcome of the Narn-Centauri conflict.
The Vorlons send an "Inquisitor" to Babylon 5 to confirm Delenn's readiness to lead the Army of Light. Meanwhile, G'Kar tries to maintain his position as leader of Babylon 5's Narn population while organizing an underground resistance against the Centauri.
Two officials from the Ministry of Peace come to Babylon 5; one to deal with the Centauri's continued expansion, and the other to check on the local Nightwatch. Meanwhile, a Narn heavy cruiser seeks sanctuary while they make repairs, and Keffer continues his search for proof that Shadow ships exist.
