Welcome to the world of wildlife rehabilitation, a profession that appeals only to those with a strong will and a big heart. In rural western Kentucky, three women have taken on the responsibility to care for wild animals that are injured, orphaned, or in need, with the ultimate goal of returning them back to the wild.
Kristin helps an owl with complicated health issues, Max and Linda tend to a baby bobcat and Nancy has her hands full with an opossum family.
Kristin attempts to save a goose whose leg is entangled with fishing wire, but she finds the goose limping with an injury that is worse than she originally thought. Brigette receives a call that an orphaned baby skunk is in desperate need of a family in order to return to the wild. Meanwhile, Nancy helps a baby vulture that is nested in a crumbling corncrib. But will moving the baby mean losing mom and dad?
