In Beautiful Baking with Juliet Sear, Juliet whips up four delicious bakes from her studio kitchen, with each show themed around an ingredient, style of baking, calendar event or celebration.Juliet is joined by special guests, who will give their own take on the spectacular world of baking, and she'll provide plenty of recipes that cater for different dietary needs.As well as perfect autumnal treats, Juliet guides viewers through perfect party food for the party season, before turning to more health-conscious recipe ideas ready for the New Year. Plus, vegan and gluten-free friendly dishes are also on the menu.
Juliet whips up a selection of treats in her studio kitchen, beginning with warm crumble tart, perfect for Sunday lunch, pasta pie and the ultimate chocolate fudge cake. She is also joined by award-winning baker Julie Jones for a lesson in pie art, and she visits a meeting of the Pudding Club in the Cotswolds.
The baking expert creates several centrepieces, from multi-coloured pinata cake and risotto cake to vegetable tart. She is also joined by food writer and pastry chef Helen Goh, who demonstrates her lemon and blackcurrant stripe cake.
Juliet creates an amazing spread for a Winter Woodland-themed party with the help of DJ buddy Dev Griffin, who learns how to make her Winter Woodland mushroom cake. Also on the menu are meringue lollies, s'mores cupcakes, pigs in blankets and Filo pastry pies.
Juliet's beautiful baking today is all about dough. There are breakfast bagels, donuts and cinnamon rolls. Master baker Richard Bertinet gives a lesson in baking the perfect sourdough, which is transformed into a delicious filled pain surprise. Plus, Juliet visits a historic mill to get the lowdown on how flour is produced.
Today's beautiful bakes all involve spices. Juliet serves up a spiced pumpkin pie with a delicious meringue topping, chocolate and chilli cookies and winter pavlova with spiced apples and pears. She visits a Lebanese bakery and is joined by food and travel writer John Gregory-Smith, who makes date and cinnamon squares.
