Next Episode of Bitchin' Rides is
unknown.
Dave Kindig, owner and operator of Kindig-It Design in Salt Lake City, Utah turns out one-of-a-kind vehicles for his demanding (and sometimes famous) clientele. In Velocity's Bitchin' Rides, viewers will see Kindig and his team working on all types and periods of cars. From rendering and design to building and restoring, viewers see vehicles being made from the ground up before being revealed to the car's owner.
A 1971 Chevy Nova with tremendous pedigree arrives at the shop to get classic Kindig-It styling cues; Dave wants to make this car into a hardtop; tucked-in bumpers, front valance and a new engine provide a good test for the crew.
Will makes miracles happen, and Dave decides to make a wholesale change to the car's color; challenges mount at each stage of the build, and the upholstery shop changes up their routine as the client arrives for a reveal years in the making.
While the shop perfects its process in building the CF1s, word about the car spreads and potential buyers line up; the latest client has a big problem when he can't choose the perfect color combination.
Dave and Kev take the show to the Midwest, as more than 2,500 cars descend on the Summit Motorsports drag strip for a weekend of fun, Kev gets a ride in a lean, mean drag racing machine and Dave steps up his autocross game.
A client enlists Dave on a mission from God to make his dreams of a father/son road trip along Route 66 come true; getting the client's mechanically unsound reproduction of the Bluesmobile ready for the road will test the crew's mettle.
KevDogg has some crazy ideas as he leads the makeover of a semi hauler.
Dave finally realizes one of his dreams by opening the Kindig Academy.
A '69 Camaro comes in, but Dave and the team soon determine that it requires a full rebuild. And since the team will be starting from scratch, the client decides to go all-out on the chassis, engine and every detail.
With the Camaro's design firmed up, the build continues but hits a roadblock when it comes to getting the engine dialed in just right. Meanwhile, Dave has second thoughts about the color combination.
What starts as a simple engine repair slowly turns into a patented Kindig slippery slope, as a show-ready '35 Roadster V8 will require a full rebuild. The mechanical chops of the shop get pushed to the limit on this car.
The shop hits the road with their freshest builds to check out and compete against the competition. Will and Dave's cousin Brad give their "unique" views on the cars they come across, and they team up to challenge Dave in an autocross to remember.
The team work on a 1957 Nomad to give it a boost in power.
Rick Mezich ("Deadliest Catch") get Dave to work on his CF1.
Off-road vehicles are few and far between at the shop. This Hummer is getting a huge conversion from two-wheel drive to four-wheel, a new LS engine, interior, and a fresh paint job
A 1955 Bel Air comes in for a mechanical upgrade, and Dave's son needs some help with his pickup truck. While the shop is buzzing with all this activity, Dave announces they will be holding their first-annual pinewood derby competition.
The shop has a busy week prepping for the 2022 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Once in Vegas, Dave and Kev attend the first-ever concours d'elegance at the famous Wynn hotel and golf course, where their knowledge of cars will be pushed to its limits.
The competition at the year's last car show is steep, as the 10 best cars descend on Scottsdale, Arizona, to separate the contenders from the pretenders. Also, Dave decides to restock his toolbox with help from his right-hand man.
A beat-up truck arrives at the shop, and underneath all the rust lies a hidden gem.
The guys have to invest in a process to get the C10's hood just right, but the bodywork on this truck is where the art of the build comes out.
The C10 moves into final assembly, and the upholstery shop puts on their finishing touches. Getting the bed to fit perfectly and dialing in the new air ride is a challenge, and the upholstery runs into one problem after another.
Looks like something went completely wrong!
