Rosa Mia is a night club singer. She is secretly married to the security guard, Emilio. They have a child named Emilia Rose. They tell their boss that they are married and need money and the boss fires them. Emilio gets new job. His boss is very shady character. His boss always asks him to deliver secret packages. In return Emilio gets extra money. Rosa Mia got a gig in Cebu and left Emilia in the care of her husband. Emilio was asked to bring a another package to a club. He has to bring Emilia cause no one can watch her. Babies cannot go into bars so Emilio asks a stranger named Adora to watch her for a few mintues. When Emilio goes in the club he gets arrested because he had drugs. Adora can't find Emilio and adoptes Emilia. She changes her name to Adornia but Dornia for short.

Rosa Mia comes home and finds out her husband is in jail and her baby gone. Rosa Mia pours herself in her singing until she gets discovered by a record producer. He develops Rosa Mia to be a star. Soon Rosa Mia rises to fame, and becomes the Sensational Diva.

Lavinia, another up and coming singer emerges in the scene. Her ambitious mom, Barbara, tells Lavinia to become friends with Rosa Mia to speed up her popularity. Lonely and vulnerable, Rosa Mia takes Lavinia under her wing, trying to fill the gap for the daughter she pines for even after so many years.

Lavinia becomes a big star too. But that isn't enough for Barbara so Larry (the record producer son) connives with Barbara to knock off Rosa Mia from the top spot. To make Lavinia the ultimate and most popular singer. They succeed. Rosa Mia falls from grace and loses her reputation and popularty so she turns her back from showbusiness and returns to singing in small clubs.

While all this is happening Dornia and her "mother" Adora both idol Lavinda and Rosa Mia. Dorina begins to idolize Lavinia. She goes to all her concerts, show and personal appearances to try to see her idol and offer her flowers. But Dorina also loves to sing. With the help of Adora and her bestfriend Oman, Dorina joins singing contests until she eventually wins in a nationwide and televised singing contest. She gains the attention of all, including Nico Escobar, the boyfriend of Lavinia.

Nico loves Lavinia. But Lavinia is too caught up in her carreer to settle down and marry. This makes Nico bitter.
He uses Dornia to steal Lavinia's spotlight away.

Dorina and Lavinia used to be friends but since they are competing with each other they are rivals. Dornia wanted to be friends but Lavinia would not have that.
