Two teams of five have 12 hours on the clock to create a balloon world with a theme of Future or Fantasy. Then, five artists from the winning team must create a floating piece of art, using helium.

This challenge is all about creating an original street art balloon sculpture to display in one of Melbourne's most iconic laneways, Hosier Lane.
In the final challenge to determine the winner, the final three contestants must build a spectacular Carnivale style-float.
In the Blow Up semi-final, 3 contestants compete for the remaining 2 places in the final. Contestants must create something from the Jurassic world.
