Next Episode of Bottomless Brunch at Colman's is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
As we all stay home to stay safe together, what we're missing most is connecting with other people out in the world. And for Colman Domingo (Fear the Walking Dead, Zola, Candyman) that primarily means… brunch. A writer, actor and director in Los Angeles, Colman has friends across all parts of the entertainment industry and beyond. But before he was on stage and screen, he worked in the service industry — and that love of bar and restaurant life has never left him. He even owns his own bar now, The Wolves in downtown LA. Keeping with that love of bar life and that need to connect, he's taking it virtual. Each week, he'll send a couple of friends all the mixings for a cocktail of choice, have them make something delicious and invite them to brunch... and he's inviting you too. And if the exact ingredients aren't available, don't sweat it – Colman is used to improvising so he'll help make the best of whatever his guests (and you) have available. We all have to adapt in these wacky new times, including cocktail time.
Colman Domingo and his special guests, Radha Blank (The Forty-Year-Old Version) and Julio Torres (SNL, Together Together), take turns fielding "audience questions," share their past experiences at Sundance, and whip up a Bulleit Rye Hot Toddy.
Colman welcomes actors Victoria Mahoney ("Lovecraft Country") and Kelly McCreary ("Grey's Anatomy") to celebrate International Women's Day with a signature cocktail, The Cool Jane, and a conversation about working as a woman in Hollywood.
Colman welcomes actors Raúl Castillo ("We the Animals") and Gabriel Luna ("True Detective") for a Cinco de Mayo celebration during which they chat about growing up in Texas and make a tequila cocktail, the Blanco Agave Drop.
Join Colman and special guests Lea DeLaria (Orange Is the New Black), J. August Richards (Angel) and Kate Moennig (The L Word) for a Pride celebration where they rebel against the brunch requirement, share the moments of when they came out, and make a signature cocktail, the Smirnoff Pride Martini.
Colman welcomes actress and director Regina King ("One Night in Miami") to celebrate Juneteenth with a discussion about what the day means to them, how they build the characters they play and to make a signature cocktail, the Summer Citrus Sunrise.
Colman welcomes DJ Jazzy Jeff and singer Patti LaBelle as they celebrate the Fourth of July with lots of Philadelphia pride and a rum punch cocktail.
