Britain's Youngest Football Boss follows top flight football club West Ham United women's team and their 19-year-old Managing Director Jack Sullivan in his first full-time job since leaving school at 16. As women's football explodes, the team makes its debut in the professional Women's Super League, and Jack's dad David Sullivan - one of the richest men in Britain and the Chairman of West Ham United - has tasked him with transforming the club's fortunes. With exclusive behind the scenes access, this is a revealing and intimate look at what it takes to be a professional female footballer in today's game, and whether a loveable but inexperienced teenager can change the face of women's football.
Just a few months before the start of the season, Jack's got to put together a whole new team capable of cutting it in the Women's Super League.
Jack rolls up his sleeves to organise a publicity stunt that he hopes will boost ticket sales as the team face their first battles on the pitch, will they sink or swim?
Off the back of West Ham's hard-fought first league win, Jack springs into action in an effort to further enhance his new team's profile. But an impending injury crisis and calamitous away game soon bursts his bubble, and the reality of running a football club starts to bite. When results don't improve and the injury problems deepen, the pressure reaches a critical point for head coach Matt Beard, as they go into a make-or-break game against Everton.
