"British Army Girls" is a documentary series following 47 women through the British Army's gruelling 14-week training period.
Can Lisa, the oldest recruit in the troop, adapt to army discipline? Chantelle, who's 22, returns to training for the second time, more determined than ever to make it through.
Five women have dropped out of 3 Section already and the tough stuff has only just started. Their trainer Corporal Ellis says 'This is where it gets brutal; none of them will get through it on their own. They have to work as a team.' But, with new recruits joining the troop, will they learn to work together? Chloe Delaney is desperate to make it in the army and escape from dead-end jobs at home. She's missed months of training due to leg injuries and now she faces carrying heavy loads on long marches. She has the guts but will her body let her down? Jessica May says that she 'loves blowing things up' and is set for a career in the artillery but something is not right. She keeps dropping out of physical training with minor injuries.
The troop have returned from Christmas Break to face the final four weeks of training during which everything they've learnt in training will be put to the test on their longest and toughest exercise to date: Final Fling. It's a massive challenge under combat conditions - will they all make it through and pass out as soldiers? Seventeen-year-old Ebonie Jones was a champion amateur boxer before she signed up, but will her young age affect her chances of parading in front of her parents on the final day? Troop comedian Krystal Treadwell is getting noticed by her troop commander for all the wrong reasons, but she's hanging in there, just. Will she learn to stop cracking jokes and start turning into a soldier? Megan Lewis is an ex-art student whose Dad thought the army would be too rough and tough for her - her biggest hurdle is to find the self-confidence to prove her doubters wrong.
