A car show on Velocity T.V. that casts two guys, Lou Santiago and Jared Zimmerman, who fix and restore cars. They fix anything from the classics to modern day vehicles, feature performance products in the industry and show how most of these jobs are simple enough to complete at home with the right tools and experience. The guys take the old steering out of a '66 Volkswagen Type 2 and bolt in a new upgraded rack-and-pinion setup. Then all of the MotorTrend hosts show up to check out 20 years of Bryan Fuller builds at the Forged by Fuller exhibit at the Savoy museum.
Fuller and Bumpus take a '70s Datsun truck and build a new rear frame section to lay frame on the ground; then to finish it off, they cut the roof and make it a convertible.
A six-speed manual, almost 700-hp car can be found from the factory; it's called a Cadillac Blackwing, and Fuller and Bumpus bring one in to build multiple removable racing-style exhausts.
Fuller and Bumpus are accomplished motorcycle builders, so they show off some of their skills on Fuller's newer BMW R 18; they tear the bulk off the new bike and build custom fenders and other accents to give this modern bike a vintage BMW look.
