In the 20 x 60' series, ebullient top chef Rosemary Shrager and chef, food writer and TV personality John Whaite are running a one week residential cookery school.Each week, four competitive couples will face a smorgasbord of daily challenges. They all have a passion for food and want to be champion in the kitchen.But they won't just cook together. They'll also live together turning up the heat to boiling point.
Each day the best couple will win a prize, but only the most improved will walk away with £1000 at the end of the week.The rest will end up on the Chopping Block.

In the first episode super competitive pals Phill and Liam catch Rosemary's attention – for both the wrong and right reasons – while vegetarian teaching assistant Joanne struggles with a chicken-based skills test. Meanwhile step siblings Hilal and Jevdet make a last-minute change to their recipe after overhearing some key advice from the judges.
It is culinary classics day and the three cooks must flex their 'mussels' as well as having to bake sixteen miniature Black Forest gateaux.
The three couples are challenged to master the art of spicing with a veggie curry, then tackle precision baking with John's tropical mango dessert.
It is elimination day and one couple's necks are on the chopping block. Standing between them and the prize are Rosemary's beef tournedos rossini with sweetbreads and John's tricky apple cider doughnuts.
It is the grand final and one couple will walk off with 1,000 pounds. All they have to do is butterfly and cook a whole trout with a selection of side dishes, then serve their own take on a nutty nougat.
