Robert and Anna return to COBRA to try and devise an effective strategy against members of an environmental protest group who are blocking traffic from going through a railway tunnel.

Following the sinkhole collapse, Sutherland and his wife Rachel travel to Godley Common in the hope that their daughter Ellie is still alive. Multiple deaths are reported as rescuers work around the clock to retrieve victims just as news breaks that Shirasian Princess Yadira has been kidnapped and forced back to Shirasia. Meanwhile, Francine Bridge, opposition Minister and a tentative ally of the Planet Resistance movement, is stricken by the disaster and begins questioning her support for what now seems to be a terrorist organisation.

The police interrogate Ellie and Henry, who both deny knowledge of any explosive device, maintaining that Planet Resistance is a peaceful organisation. Knowing his daughter is alive, Sutherland has renewed energy to deal with the aftermath of the sinkhole collapse and the abduction of Princess Yadira.

The government face scrutiny for legislating an aggressive anti-protest bill, leading to police forces going on an unofficial strike.

The government frantically search for a stolen weapon. Dan and his mercenaries demand to be paid a ransom, or the weapon will be used.

Dan breaks into Archie's home, demanding Robert resign from his post or he will use the weapon. Season finale.
