Comedy Now! kicks off its eighth season with 13 all-new episodes.? The eighth season features the milestone 100th episode of the series starring award-winning comic Jay Malone.
A TV calling card for comedic success, Comedy Now! has been a showcase for numerous Canadian writer/comedians including Brent Butt, Se?n Cullen, Gavin Crawford, Roman Danylo, Derek Edwards, Brigitte Gall, Elvira Kurt, Jeremy Hotz, Shaun Majumder, Jason Rouse and Harland Williams. Many comics have gone onto much success including alumnus Brent Butt, creator, producer and head writer of Corner Gas, the No. 1 Canadian comedy series on CTV and The Comedy Network. Comedy Now! is a Gemini Award-winning series and has won multiple international awards, including 13 Worldfest Awards, and has been sold internationally, including to Comedy Central in the U.S.
